🗝️ Checkout in Three Simple Moments
01 · Review
Check the products, selected options, quantities, address, shipping charge, tax, discounts, and final total.
02 · Pay
Choose one of the payment methods displayed at checkout and follow the applicable instructions.
03 · Confirm
Wait for the order-confirmation page or confirmation email before attempting another payment.
Nice and simple—but please read the details below if anything looks unusual.
💵 01 · Payment Methods Available to You
The payment options supported for a specific purchase are displayed during checkout.
Available methods may vary according to:
-
Delivery destination;
-
Currency presented at checkout;
-
Order details;
-
Device or checkout environment;
-
Payment-gateway availability;
-
Provider eligibility requirements;
-
Transaction risk or verification results.
Please select only from the methods visible on the official checkout page.
A payment method used on another website—or even on a previous purchase—may not always be available for every marviola™ transaction.
If a payment option is not displayed, please do not send money through an unofficial account, private transfer request, or unrelated third-party link.
🛎️ marviola™ customer support will never ask you to bypass the official checkout process by sending payment to a personal account.
🧬 02 · How Checkout Payments Are Processed
Transactions placed through the marviola™ storefront are processed using Shopify’s checkout infrastructure and the applicable enabled payment providers.
Depending on the selected method, the payment provider may perform:
-
Card or account validation;
-
Billing-information checks;
-
Fraud-prevention screening;
-
Authentication requests;
-
Authorization or availability checks;
-
Transaction-risk review.
marviola™ does not independently store complete credit or debit card numbers on its own store servers.
Payment information is handled through the applicable checkout and payment systems according to their technical and security arrangements.
While reasonable security measures are used by these systems, no internet transaction can be guaranteed to be entirely free from risk. Customers should also take reasonable precautions when shopping online.
🧿 03 · Review the Full Amount Before Paying
Before clicking the final payment button, pause for a moment—just a quick check can prevent quite a bit of trouble!
Your order summary may display:
-
Product title;
-
Selected color, style, size, or other option;
-
Quantity;
-
Individual product price;
-
Promotional adjustment;
-
Shipping charge;
-
Applicable tax;
-
Currency;
-
Payment method;
-
Final amount payable.
Please confirm that the information shown matches what you intend to purchase.
The amount and currency displayed at the final checkout stage are the figures you should review before submitting payment.
If the total appears incorrect, please stop and contact us before completing the transaction.
🪙 04 · Currency Conversion and External Charges
Your bank, card issuer, or payment provider may apply its own financial terms, particularly when the card currency differs from the currency shown at checkout.
Possible provider-controlled charges may include:
-
Currency-conversion fees;
-
International transaction fees;
-
Exchange-rate differences;
-
Cross-border processing charges;
-
Card-issuer service fees.
These charges are determined by the relevant financial institution and may not appear in the marviola™ order total.
They are separate from product prices, shipping charges, or taxes collected through our checkout.
If you are unsure whether an external fee will apply, please ask your bank or payment provider before purchasing. Ah, it’s always better to know beforehand!
🪪 05 · Additional Verification Is Sometimes Normal
A request for verification does not automatically mean that something is wrong.
Your bank or payment provider may ask you to:
-
Confirm your identity;
-
Approve a notification;
-
Enter a verification code;
-
Confirm transaction details;
-
Complete an authentication step;
-
Verify that the payment method belongs to you.
A transaction may remain pending, be temporarily authorized, or be declined while the provider completes its review.
Bank declines, verification requirements, and authorization decisions are normally controlled by the financial institution or payment service involved.
marviola™ cannot override a bank or payment provider’s independent security decision.
If your payment is declined without a clear explanation, contacting the provider directly is often the quickest next step.
🧲 06 · Promotional Codes and Checkout Savings
Have a valid discount code? Great—enter it before finalizing payment!
To apply a code:
-
Enter it in the designated discount field;
-
Apply or confirm the code;
-
Review the updated order total;
-
Complete payment only after the discount appears.
Promotions may be subject to conditions including:
-
Activation and expiration dates;
-
Minimum order value;
-
Eligible products or collections;
-
Customer eligibility;
-
Quantity restrictions;
-
Redemption limits;
-
Geographic limitations;
-
Rules concerning combination with other offers.
A code may not work if it is expired, entered incorrectly, restricted to another product, or outside its published conditions.
Unless the promotion specifically states otherwise, a discount cannot be added retroactively after an order has been completed.
If the reduction does not appear in the order summary, it has not been successfully applied—so, please check before paying!
📟 07 · Pending, Declined or Interrupted Payments
Oops, checkout stopped halfway through? Don’t panic and don’t immediately submit payment several more times.
Try the following:
Check the screen message
Look for a verification request, incorrect field, provider message, or decline notice.
Review the information entered
Confirm the card or payment details, billing information, expiration date, and address where applicable.
Check for an order confirmation
Look for a confirmation page or an email associated with the checkout.
Review your banking activity
A pending authorization does not always mean that a completed order exists.
Contact the payment provider
Your bank or provider may be able to explain a restriction, decline, or pending authorization.
Ask marviola™ before retrying
If you cannot determine whether the order was created, contact us before attempting another transaction.
When writing to us, please include:
-
Your name;
-
Email address used at checkout;
-
Approximate payment time;
-
Order number, if available;
-
Payment amount;
-
A description of the checkout message.
Do not include your complete card number or security code.
🧯 08 · Authorization Holds Are Not Always Final Charges
In some cases, a bank may place a temporary authorization hold when a payment attempt is made.
An authorization hold:
-
May appear as pending;
-
May temporarily reduce available funds;
-
Does not always mean the order was completed;
-
May be released automatically by the bank;
-
May take time to disappear from the account.
The timing for releasing an unsuccessful or cancelled authorization is generally controlled by the bank or payment provider.
marviola™ cannot manually accelerate a provider-controlled release, but we can help confirm whether a corresponding order appears in our store records.
🧱 09 · What If You See Two Payments?
If the same amount appears more than once, first check whether one or both entries are marked as pending.
A duplicate-looking entry may involve:
-
Two pending authorizations;
-
One authorization and one completed charge;
-
Two separate checkout attempts;
-
Two successfully created orders;
-
A bank display delay.
Please avoid initiating additional payment attempts until the existing entries are understood.
Contact us at service@marviola.com and include any related order numbers, transaction dates, and amounts.
For your security, show only the last four digits of the payment card if identification is necessary. Never send the complete card number.
If the matter is controlled by the bank or payment provider, you may also need to contact that provider directly.
🧷 10 · When Is an Order Considered Successfully Placed?
A payment screen alone does not always confirm that an order has been completed.
A successful checkout will generally produce:
-
An order-confirmation page;
-
An order number;
-
A confirmation email sent to the submitted address.
If you do not receive any confirmation, check your spam or junk folder and verify whether the email address was entered correctly.
Still unsure? Please contact us before trying to pay again. We’ll review the available order information and help you understand the next step.
An order may still require payment verification, inventory confirmation, or another reasonable review before fulfillment begins.
🔄 11 · Cancellations and Payment Reversals
Need to cancel? Please contact us as soon as possible.
If an order is successfully cancelled before fulfillment begins, the cancellation fee is:
US$0.00
Once processing, packing, shipping preparation, or dispatch has started, cancellation may no longer be possible.
If payment has already been collected for an order or item that marviola™ subsequently cancels, the applicable amount will be returned to the original payment method.
The payment provider may require additional time to display the returned amount.
Submitting a cancellation request does not itself confirm cancellation. Our support team must review the fulfillment status and communicate the outcome.
🧾 12 · Refunds Return to the Original Method
Approved refunds are normally issued to the original payment method used for the order.
For an approved physical return, marviola™ generally initiates the refund within:
5–10 business days after the returned item has been received, reviewed, and approved.
After initiation, your bank, card issuer, or payment provider may need additional time to post the funds.
The date we initiate a refund may therefore differ from the date it appears in your account.
If the original method cannot receive the credit, we will work with the applicable payment provider to determine a permitted alternative where necessary.
For full return eligibility, authorization requirements, shipping-cost responsibility, and return instructions, please review our Returns & Refunds Policy.
🔏 13 · Protect Your Financial Information
Please keep the following information private:
-
Full credit or debit card number;
-
Card security code;
-
Online banking password;
-
Store account password;
-
One-time authentication code;
-
Full bank-account credentials;
-
Unrelated identity documents.
marviola™ does not require this sensitive information to locate an order or review a general payment concern.
We may reasonably ask for:
-
Your order number;
-
Name used on the order;
-
Checkout email address;
-
Order amount;
-
Transaction date;
-
Last four digits of the payment card, when necessary.
If someone contacts you claiming to represent marviola™ and requests a password or one-time code, do not provide it.
🎐 14 · Friendly Checkout Checklist
